SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory is operated by Stanford University for the Department of Energy.  As a management and operating contractor, subcontracts awarded by the Laboratory are not Federal procurements, and are not directly subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulations in 48 CFR. Nonetheless, certain Federal laws, Executive Orders, and regulations may affect our DOE approved purchasing system, as required by statute, regulation, or contract terms and conditions.

The following Addendum is being issued for the subject Request for Quotation: 355428 GRANITE TABLE

Question:  we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the full technical specifications, drawings, or any reference images related to this item.

Answer: See attached Granite Table drawing.

This Addendum modifies the Request for Quotation and must be acknowledged. Failure to acknowledge all addenda could make your proposal non-responsive.  Please confirm that the submitted proposal is not changed because of this addendum. If proposal sent is revised because of this, please submit the revised proposal.

The following changes are hereby made to the appropriate documents contained the above-mentioned Request for Quotation (RFQ). All other terms and conditions of the RFQ remain the same.

TECHNICAL Crietria Listed Below:

1. The basement needs to be granite table which SLAC provided airpad (the height is 150mm) can be attached.

2. The total height including the airpad is 800mm.

3. The top part consisting of 4 tables (i-iv) needs to have 2(a and b) x motorized horizontal motions and 1 x vertical motion(c).

4. The top table has independent small table(iv) with manual motion along X-ray axis.

5. The top tables (ii-iv) is module, which can be easily separated from the bottom table(i).

6. The bottom table should be 1m x 1.1 m coupled with the motion (a). The middle table(ii) should have the linear rail perpendicular to motion (a) for small table(iv)  and motorized axis(b) for the table(iii).

7. Motorized motion (a), (b) and (c) need to have more than +/- 25 mm.

8. Showing the motion resolution, gear reducing ratio and maximum loading capacity.

August 2023) will be made a part of the resulting order. Please mark up terms and conditions if you wish to negotiate. No mark ups mean that you accept SLAC Terms and Conditions.
