Synopsis: The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Production and Conservation – Acquisition and Procurement Division is issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ), in accordance with FAR Part 13 on behalf of the USDA - Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) Norman A. Berg Plant Materials Center 8791 Beaver Dam Road, Beltsville Maryland 20705, Prince Georges County. The work will consist of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required to furnish and replace six existing doors, including frames and hardware, and repair exterior concrete knee walls. This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business set-aside. To be eligible for award, interested contractors must be registered in and must complete the annual representations and certifications electronically via the System for Award Management (SAM) at http://www.sam.gov A firm fixed price construction contract is anticipated under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. The anticipated period of performance for this project is 45 calendar days from the date the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The NAICS code for this solicitation is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors. The Small Business Size Standard for this NAICS is $16.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of the project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
