    Fire Damper and Testing Service at Brooklyn VA Medical Center and St. Albans Community Living Center Solicitation Questions and Reponses Question 1- Section F that raised a question: Could you please clarify the expectations regarding the number of access doors to be installed? Response: 10% of total. Question 2- Are there labeled Life Safety Plans that show the location of the dampers? If not, they have Mechanical Prints that show the locations? Response: All available as-builts drawings will be provided. Question 3- Will an escort be required? Response: Not required, once the space is identified and approved by COR. Question 4- Are the dampers labeled on the grids on ceilings? Response: Not in all areas. Question 5- Will HEPA cart be required in the facility? If yes, will the facility be providing the HEPA cart? Response: No. Contractor responsible for providing. If yes, what percentage of the facility is HEPA cart use required? Response: Contractor responsible for following all infection control guidelines. Question 6- Will work be completed during normal hours? FOR BOTH LOCATIONS- Normal hours and outside the normal hours (WHEN hours) for critical areas. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, excluding federal holidays. Service will be performed during the business hours of coverage unless requested and approved by the Contracting Officer Representative.
