    COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION The Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center located at 1201 NW 16th Street, Miami, FL 33125 has a requirement for Physicist Survey of Radiation Equipment. The attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) shall be adhered to. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation, Request for Quotation (RFQ), for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written separate solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is set-aside for Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB). To be eligible for award quoter must be verified in Small Business Administration (SBA) www.sba.gov prior to the closing date and time of the RFQ and at the time of award. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code and size standard are 541380 Testing Laboratories and Services and $16.5 Million dollars, respectively. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items is applicable to this procurement. This is a competitive Request for Quote (RFQ) conducted under FAR Part 13.106-2(b)(3), Comparative Evaluation source selection process. The Government reserves the right to select a response that provides benefit to the Government that exceeds the minimum but is not required to do so. Responses may exceed the requirements, but the Government is not requesting or accepting alternate proposal(s); each response must respond to the solicitation requirement statement. The award will be made based on comparative evaluation. All offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov at time quotes are due to be considered for an award of a federal contract. Registration must be complete and not missing elements such as representations and certifications. To be eligible for this set-aside your company s registration must include the appropriate NAICS code. The government contemplates awarding a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation. All questions regarding this RFQ must be in writing and sent by e mail to william.bridger@va.gov by September 3, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST. You are reminded that representatives from your company SHALL NOT contact any Miami VA Healthcare System personnel to discuss this RFQ during this RFQ process. All questions and concerns regarding this RFQ shall be directed to the Contracting Officer. Quotes: Quotes are due September 10, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST. Quotes shall be submitted via email ONLY to william.bridger@va.gov. Quotes received after this date and time will be considered late in accordance with FAR Provision 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated unless the Contracting Officer determines the late quote will be accepted IAW 52.212-1(f)(2)(i)(A-C).
