    Title: Inspect, Clean, and Maintain Fuel Storage Tanks Purpose: The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 16 located at 5075 Westheimer Road, Galleria Financial Center, Suite 750, Houston, Texas, hereby issues the following Sources Sought/ Request for Information (RFI) with the intent of determining the contractor interest, capabilities, qualifications of potential businesses, nonmanufacturer rule compliance, Buy American Act compliance, Trade Agreement compliance and estimated industry pricing information for market research and estimated budgetary purpose for Maintenance of Underground and Above Ground Storage Tank , Shreveport, LA., 71101. Notice of Intent to Sole Source. If there are no responses to this notice, a determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government to sole source the requirement. No response is a response. Government request that interested offerors complete all questions below, provide required documentation, descriptive literature and authorization letter as described below. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives or responds to this announcement. Objective: To find qualified and certified contractors with the capability to provide the following: The Overton Brooks Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 510 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA, 71101 requires inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of 4 20,000 gallons, 1 8,000 gallon, underground diesel storage tanks and 1 1,000 gallon unleaded fuel tank, additionally 5 above ground diesel storage/day tanks, respectively located in Bldg. 1 SB-5, 1N-101, Bldg. 3 and Bldg. 34. The intent of this contract is for the vendor is to come on site, conduct all required inspections and tank cleaning. Compliance is required by The Joint Commission EC 02.05.07 EP 8, Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ) Act 521 of the 2016 Regular Session of the Legislature amended Louisiana Revised Statutes, Section 30:2194.1 to read: "No person shall place or dispense a regulated substance into an underground storage tank that has not been registered with the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and that does not have a current registration certificate." Certificate No. REG20210001 is assigned to Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, owner identification number 11204, AI number 9007. Place of Performance: Overton Brooks Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 510 E Stoner Ave, Shreveport, LA, 71101. Period of Performance: Base plus four (4) year Option. Opportunity: NCO 16, is seeking information from potential contractors on their ability to provide this requirement. THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE and SOURCES SOUGHT FOR REQUEST INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. Small Business Concerns are encouraged to provide responses to this Sources Sought in order to assist the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center System in determining potential levels of competition available in the industry.
