HANKOOK VERTICAL TURNING CENTERS (VTC)

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION

This Pre-solicitation Notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes.

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to solicit and negotiate a non-competitive sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 1901 and in accordance with FAR 13.501.

PHNSY & IMF intends to solicit from Panda Machine Tools Inc., to perform on-site, preventive maintenance, repair, calibration, and remedial services, to include an inspection report, on two (2) Hankook Vertical Turning Centers.                     

A sources sought notice was posted on the Government Point of Entry, SAM.gov IAW FAR 5.204, from 20 February 2025 - 28 February 2025 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirement. This pre-solicitation does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred. 

The planned period of performance is as follows:

Base Year:  28 August 2025 – 27 August 2026

Option Year 1: 28 August 2026 – 27 August 2027

Option Year2: 28 August 2027 – 27 August 2028

Option Year 3: 28 August 2028 – 27 August 2029

Option Year4:  28 August 2029 – 27 August 2030

This posting serves as a pre-solicitation notice in association with N32253-25-Q-1013 in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204. A solicitation notice will be posted on or about 10 June 2025. All dates and information included in this announcement are subject to change.
