HUMAN SPACE FLIGHT SUPPORT II BRIDGE ACTION

The 325th Contracting Squadron (325 CONS) issued a sole source bridge contract to ManTech Advanced Systems Internattional (ManTech) as a modification to the exsisting contract to ensure continuation of mission essential services supporting the Human Space Flight II mission of Det 3, Patrick Space Force Base, FL. This sole source, Firm-Fixed Price bridge was awarded to ManTech, the incumbent contractor, for a six-month base period, and three, two-month options under the authority of the Fair Opportunity Exception: FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i). 

The contractor shall provide uninterrupted execution of mission-critical Department of Defense support to NASA's crewed space flight operations. This performance-based service provides continuity of essential operations for NASA's crewed space flight programs including Artemis, Commercial Crew, and Soyuz missions. Services required under this effort include, but are not limited to, planning, coordination, execution, and sustianment of DoD capabilities to support launch, landing, and contingency operations for human spaceflight missions.
