HYDRAULIC TORQUE WRENCH PM AND CALIBRATION SERVICES

Commander Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC), located at the Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD hereby gives notice of their intent to award a purchase order to ADVANCE MFG.CO., INC. 8 Turnpike Industrial Road Westfield, MA 01085-1645 (Cage Code: 29293) on a sole source basis in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-1(b)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency needs.

FRCSW identified the need of supplies and services to provide off-site maintenance and calibration services for two (2) Hydraulic Torque Wrenches.

Advance Mfg. Co. Inc. is the only vendor with pre-approved waiver from NAVSEA METCAL Warrant Holder. For this reason, Advance Mfg. Co Inc. is the only vendor approved to provide repair & services on Hydraulic Torque Wrench, Model # / Part #: AH2043CR. 

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITVE QUOTES.

However, all responsible sources may submite a capability statement, which, if received within two (2) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitve procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
