    Description

    The Embassy of the United States of America in Lisbon, Portugal in coordination with USDA´s International Climate Hub, intends to issue a fixed price contract to a company that can provide a complete suite of services relating to hosting a 2-day international Viticulture symposium for up to 150 persons in Porto, Portugal, on December 3-4, 2024. Only companies or individuals specializing in this field should apply. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need do so. It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called "SAM - System for Award Management" www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. An NCAGE code is required to register in SAM. If you do not have this information, it must be obtained before registering in SAM. There is no cost involved, neither to obtaining the NCAGE code nor to register in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder.
