    Description

    The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to procure this requirement on a full and open competition basis in accordance with Revolutionary Federal Acquisition Regulation Overhaul (RFO) 12.201-1 under the authority of the simplified procedures for acquisition of commercial products and commercial services. The Government has a need for inspection certification, repair, parts, and service by an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) that can provide beginning to end solutions for the Illinois Waterway Project Office (IWPO's) inland river cranes which operate on the Illinois River. Additional information on the requirement to include Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be provided when the solicitation is released. The United States Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, intends to enter into a firm fixed price and time and materials contract structure as full and open competition utilizing Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation procedures. A single contract is anticipated to be awarded to the lowest price technically acceptable offeror. **This notice is not a request for competitive quotes and no solicitation will be issued; however, any SAM.gov registered vendor that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the contract specialist by 01 May 2026 by 2PM Central Time. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. The Government will not pay for the information received or reimbursement will not be made for any costs assocated with providing information in response to this notice or any follow up information requested. Therefore, no award will be made as a result of providing this information.
