PURPOSE OF THIS NOTICE:
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Rock Island District, is issuing this notice to solicit feedback from qualified businesses on the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) and CLIN Schedule for future Advanced Contracting Initiative (ACI) contracts for Emergency Debris Removal Services. The ACI program supports rapid and comprehensive debris removal in response to disasters, as authorized by the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act (Stafford Act). A significant need exists for large-scale debris management capabilities exceeding the capacity of state and local governments, and these services may be performed across the United States and all Outlying Areas as defined by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 2.101.
