Description

The St Joe Ranger District – Avery Office has a requirement to install two propane stoves, chimney flue liners, and gas lines for the Beaver Creek A frame Improvements project.
This rental cabin currently has a wood stove, which shall be removed and replaced with two (2) Jotual 300 gas fireplaces. The two (2) Jotual 300 gas fireplaces will be provided by the government.

Location:
Beaver Creek Cabin, Avery Idaho – To get there one will have to drive to the jct of Forest Highway 50 (St. Joe River Road) and Road 218 (approx. 76 miles from St. Maries), then take Road 218 approx. 7 miles (still following the St. Joe River) to jct of Road 218 and Road 303, then drive approx. 3.5 miles to A-Frame location. See attached map, page 22.

The work site is a rental cabin for the public. One-way travel time from the nearest town of St. Maries, ID, is 2 ½ hours. This is a narrow winding road for 100 miles. The last 3 miles are gravel, rough and require a high clearance vehicle.
