NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE: This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Knox intents to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to Secur-Serv, for the performance of hardware maintenance services on seventy-one iNSIGHT 700c Optical Mark Recognition scanners and twenty-three Flex Stackers. This sole source award is authorized under FAR 12.102(a): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to provide the requested supplies to adam.p.buchert.civ@army.mil. The Government shall not reimburse interested sources for any information provided. No requests for capability briefings will be honored. A determination by the Government whether or not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This requirement will be solicited sole source to Secur-Serv on or around 18 February, 2026 with award anticipated on or around 02 March 2026.
