INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO ARKANSAS ACTIVITIES ASSOCIATION

The 189AW intends to award a sole source contract to the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA), located in Arkansas, for the provision of advertising services related to Arkansas high school athletics. AAA is the exclusive governing body for interscholastic activities in the state and holds proprietary access to advertising platforms and event sponsorships within its sanctioned athletic programs.

This acquisition is being conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which permits sole source awards when only one source is reasonably available due to unique capabilities or rights. AAA is the only entity authorized to provide advertising placements during official Arkansas high school athletic events, making them the sole provider capable of fulfilling the requirements.
