INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE VALVES IN SUPPORT OF USS BULKELEY

The Department of the Navy, Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) FLC Rota, Spain; hereby publicizes its intention to solicit, negotiate, and award a Commercial, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to J.A. Moody, LLC of Malvern, Pennsylvania and CAGE code 3B558.

The requirement is for direct replacement firemain valves as installed on the USS Bulkeley (DDG 84) and, per the NAVSEA Standard Items FY26, and technical publications: S6435-QZ-MMI-010 Rev 1, High Performance Butterfly Valves, S6435-SZ-MMA-010 Rev 1, Electric Motor Operated Valves, 802-5959353 Rev BT, and Military Standard 777D Modified for DDG 51 Class Schedule of Piping, Valves, Fittings, and Associated Piping Components.

A determination by the government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the government. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency.

The applicable NAICS Code is 332911 - Industrial Valve Manufacturing, and the size standard is 1,500 employees.
