INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE:
(THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE)

The 4th Fighter Wing Contracting Squadron, Seymour Johnson AFB, NC intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract to Prometheus Security Group Global, Cage Code: 7TDW3 . The contractor will provide, program and install four (4) HD PTZ CCTV cameras and (7) fixed License Plate Reader cameras that will integrate with SJAFB's 4 SFS current CCTV system (VICADS). The VICADS equipment and software that will be upgraded is proprietary to Prometheus Security Group Global. Please see attached draft SOW for more information. This purchase shall be made under FAR part 12 and 13 procedures; FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) Other than full and open competition applies. The circumstances of this contract action deem only one single source is reasonably available. 

Please note that this is not a request for competitive quotes. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing information describing their ability to provide the product listed above. A determination by the Government to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
