The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) intends to enter into a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract with Empire Machinery Southwest for the repair of the motor grader for BIA, Navajo Region, Western Navajo Agency, Transportation Office, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). No solicitation is available and no technical questions will be answered for this requirement. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 811310. If a firm believes that the BIA should not pursue this procurement, it should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement by 5:00 p.m. MDT on December 22, 2025.
