This notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Federal Government to contract for any service at this time. OBJECTIVE: The objective of this notice is to conduct market research to determine if there are Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources, or any other Small Businesses capable of providing HVAC System Controls & Services for the Omaha VA Medical Center (OMVA), 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: Converter HVAC Repairs/Deficiencies PLACES OF PERFORMANCE: Omaha VA Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105 POTENTIAL SCOPE OF WORK: Replacement of tube-and shell heat exchangers. Replacement of steam coils and steam traps in multiple patient care areas. Replacement of glycol pump skid and associated piping. Replacement of isolation valves, control valves, actuators, and related controls. Fan repairs, bearing replacement, shaft inspection, balancing, and welding repairs. Cross-connection investigation of domestic hot and cold-water systems and development of corrective recommendations. Integration of new HVAC equipment with the existing BAS/BMS. Functional testing, startup, commissioning, balancing, leak testing, insulation restoration, and system verification. POTENTIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE: The Contractor shall provide qualified persons that are licensed journeyman or master electricians in the state of Nebraska.
