The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a Firm Fixed Price award to a single source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The prospective contractor is to provide the following, at a minimum: Unlimited 24/7 telephone, email, and chat product support. Service call logs that can be tracked and referenced for future use. Software and Firmware updates for the supported components of the system. System health checks that track health metrics of the system, including software updates, service calls and asset lifecycle status. Access to the Emerson Knowledge Base Articles for troubleshooting and configuration support. Antivirus testing compatibility for the installed system. Microsoft update testing compatibility for the installed system. Asset and license inventory management for the entire installed system. System lifecycle management for system upgrades and obsolescence. Access to download digital media of latest software versions. 40 hours of emergency onsite support for each year of the contract to address system functionality issues and/or programming modifications. System Information One ProPlus Server, One App Station, Two Workstations Emerson DeltaV v14.LTS 600 DST system size DeltaV MD Plus controllers Modbus serial, 4-20 mA Analog/HART, 120VAC and 24VDC Discrete, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus and AS-i bus I/O modules. Period of Performance The period of performance for this service contract is to be a 5-year contract with one base year and 4 option years. Contractor Qualifications Contractor shall be an Emerson certified distributor for DeltaV support services and part of the Emerson Impact Partner Network. Contractor shall be Emerson factory trained and certified.
