The purpose of this Sources Sought announcement is for market research to make appropriate acquisition decisions and to gain knowledge of potential qualified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned Small Businesses, 8(a), HUBZone and other Small Businesses interested and capable of providing the services described below. Documentation on technical expertise must be presented in sufficient detail for the Government to determine that your company possesses the necessary functional area expertise and experience to compete for this acquisition. This Sources Sought is for the East Orange VA Medical Center located at 385 Tremont Avenue, East Orange, NJ 07018, and the Lyons VA Medical Center located at 151 Knollcroft Road, Lyons, NJ 07939, who have a requirement for generator maintenance, load bank testing, and inspection services for one (1) base year from award date plus the provision of four (4) option years. A site visit may be included in the official solicitation. All parts, labor, fees, and materials shall be included in the purchase order to perform: 2,000-hour PM (BASE YEAR ONLY) Semi-Annual visits for generator preventative maintenance inspections. Annual visits to perform load bank testing and preventive maintenance procedures on generators. Biennial visits for generator preventative maintenance procedures. Annual transfer switch inspections and maintenance, to include ATS, MTS, and tap-boxes for the LYONS CAMPUS ONLY. Unscheduled repairs with an emergency call-back response time of two (2) hours from request by VA. If problem cannot be corrected by phone, on-site work shall commence within four (4) hours from request by VA.
