    In accordance with FAR 13.501(a), this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business, Stryker Sales LLC, 1941 Stryker Way, Portage MI 49002. The Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center requires both planned and unplanned maintenance for Stryker surgical tools used in the operating room. This requirement provides services for preventive maintenance to ensure that the equipment is safe for patient care. Additionally, corrective maintenance will be included for any broken, defective, or inadequate parts. The service package also includes equipment and software upgrades. Line Items: Line Item Description Quantity Unit of Measure 0001 Stryker ProCare Maintenance Plan Base Year: 09/01/2025 08/31/2026 1 YR 1001 Stryker ProCare Maintenance Plan Option Year 1: 09/01/2026 08/31/2027 1 YR 2001 Stryker ProCare Maintenance Plan Option Year 2: 09/01/2027 08/31/2028 1 YR 3001 Stryker ProCare Maintenance Plan Option Year 3: 09/01/2028 08/31/2029 1 YR 4001 Stryker ProCare Maintenance Plan Option Year 4: 09/01/2029 08/31/2030 1 YR The resulting contract will include FAR clause at 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. If exercised for up to 6 months, the 52.217-8 option will be exercised at the same rates as those in effect under the contract at the time the contract is extended. Stryker surgical tools are highly specialized, and Stryker is the sole provider of services for its equipment. In order to ensure equipment accuracy and patient safety, preventative maintenance and repairs services for Stryker equipment can only be performed by Stryker trained and authorized/certified personnel. All equipment must be serviced in accordance with manufacturer specifications, since any deviation from these service procedures could put patients at risk of injury or death. In addition to having an authorized Stryker service technician, suitable replacement equipment parts can only be provided by the manufacturer. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811210 and the Small Business Size Standard is $34.0 Million. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 10:00 AM Mountain Standard Time, Thursday, August 14, 2025. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. Responses to this notice are to be sent to Noaa.Lanotte@va.gov. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government is not responsible for any potential costs incurred from interested parties desiring to respond to this notice.
