This is a sources sought announcement only. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified potential offerors. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The W. G. Hefner Medical Center, 1601 Brenner Ave. Salisbury, NC 28144is seeking potential sources capable to provide surgical instruments maintenance and sharpening service agreement. The maintenance plan should include inspection, scheduled set maintenance, general sharpening, alignment, refurbishment, spring replacement, ultrasonic cleaning, repair and sharpening of minimally invasive instruments, and restoration of passive layer on hand-held surgical instruments. Surgical tray set maintenance tracking and instrument marking using customer s nutrace for marking. Company MUST be able to Perform repairs to ISO 13485: 2016 standard for medical devices to be considered capable. The NAICS code for this procurement is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and Maintenance; Small Business Size Standards $12.5 Million. Responses to this source sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small): identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories-8(a), HUBZone, Services Disabled Veteran-Owned/Veteran-Owned Small Business; provide a brief description of qualifications and any other pertinent information which demonstrates the ability to meet the above requirement.
