JANITORIAL SERVICES FOR SAN SALVADOR EMBASSY COMPOUND AND OFFICIAL RESIDENCES

The U.S. Embassy in San Salvador seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive janitorial services for its 26-acre compound. The compound includes multiple office buildings, a gym, three warehouses, two cafeterias, and supports over 500 staff and temporary duty (TDY) personnel. Services are also required for the Chief of Mission Residence (CMR) and Deputy Chief of Mission Residence (DCR).

The contractor shall perform daily cleaning, waste removal, floor care, restroom sanitation, dusting of work surfaces, window cleaning in accessible areas, and periodic deep cleaning. The total service area is approximately 67,583 square meters, including 8,190 lineal meters of perimeter wall. The scope may be adjusted during the contract period to accommodate ongoing construction, but the overall service area will remain substantially unchanged.

The contract will include a base year, four option years, and a potential six-month extension.

A pre-proposal conference will be held at the U.S. Embassy in San Salvador on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. local time. Interested offerors must contact Maria Isabel Clason at ClasonMI@state.gov by Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. local time to arrange entry.

Proposals must be submitted in English and are due by Monday, May 18, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered.
