JB CHS GIANT VOICE SYSTEM MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES

RESPONSE TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE USED BY THE GOVERNMENT TO MAKE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION DECISIONS. A SUBSEQUENT SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT MAY FOLLOW. RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AS AN ADEQUATE RESPONSE TO ANY FUTURE ANNOUNCEMENT.

Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), located in Charleston, SC seeks a contractor to provide Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) and emergency/on-call services for an exisiting Giant Voice System. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, labor, transportation, supervision, and any other items and services necessary to perform two (2) semi-annual Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) on 16 Giant Voice sirens and three (3) control points for the system located across Charleston AFB and Charleston NWS. The contractor shall provide SiRcom certified technicians. 

Interested parties should provide the following information:

3. Your small business size representation for NAICS 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance (e.g., is your business small or large? If small, is your business VOSB, SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), etc.?). The Size Standard for NAICS 811210 is $34M.
4. Do you believe this acquisition should be assigned a different NAICS other than 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance? If so, which one?
5. Do you believe this acquisition should be assigned a different PSC other than J063 - Maint/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment—Alarm, Signal, and Security Detection Systems? If so, which one?
