KLA INSTRUMENTS GROUP FILMETRICS F40

The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open basis the following items: 1) Filmetrics F40, item 2) SS-Microscope-EXR-1, item 3) OBJ-15X-UVX,  item 4) Desktop-Mini, item 5) CR-NoAutoCal-F20thruF60.This requirement is sole sourced to AFP Technologies as the only authorized reseller of the manufacturer KLA Instruments Group in the United States. KLA Instruments Group 1 Technology Drive Milpitas, CA 95035 as the only vendor able to produce this requirement. KLA Instruments Group is the only one that can integrate the requirements for instrument performance, range of sample types, and range of collected characterization, such as high refractive index polymer films. No other manufacturer can meet these requirements. The written response shall reference solicitation number N6893624Q0157 and provide a capability statement that clearly indicates the firm's experience, assets, background, and ability to perform the required work without compromising the quality, accuracy, reliability, and schedule.

Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Unique Entity ID  number before the registration will be activated.  It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an 'Active' status as the government cannot award to an entity without an 'Active' SAM registration.
