This requirement is accomplished in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 “Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.” Ewing is the authorized reseller of the identified Motorola APX NEXT Series radios under the Enterprise level Land Mobile Radio BPA (FA805523A3010). Market research identified the AFICC LMR-SE BPA Program as the Air Force’s preferred contracting method for procuring pre-vetted products that adhere to DoD LMR requirements. All equipment procured under this vehicle is compatible and supportable with the intended LMR infrastructure, enabling operational continuity and exercising standardization across the Department of Defense. Parties who wish to challenge this sole source action must submit an interest letter that demonstrates the firm’s ability to fulfill the requirement. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered.

Responses received will be reviewed in detail; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be reviewed solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or not. The 934th Contracting Office will not reimburse parties for any costs connected with providing capability information.
