LASER MARKING MACHINE

AFTC/PZIA located at Arnold AFB, TN intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Laser Marking Technologies, LLC. (CAGE Code 6DPU5, Small Business under the contemplated NAICS code), to meet the Government’s requirement for a large Laser Marking Machine. The authority found at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) applies to this acquisition, which states "Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available." Based on preliminary market research efforts, the Contracting Officer has determined that only one source, Laser Marking Technologies, LLC., is reasonably available to meet the subject commercial requirement. NAICS code 333515, Cutting Tool and Machine Tool Accessory Manufacturing, will be used to meet the subject requirement.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 12:00 PM CST on 8 September 2025. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
