The United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is conducting market research to seek sources capable of providing a visible spectrum Laser Signaling Device for rescue swimmers and aircrew that meet the requirements as outlined in Attachment 1 – 70Z03826IE0000003 Laser Signaling Device Requirements.
The proposed North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for the future acquisition is 334511 – Search, Detection, Navigation, Guidance, Aeronautical, and Nautical System and Instrument Manufacturing. The size of business pursuant to NAICS 334511 is 1,350 employees.
Sources Sought Requested Response
All contractors interested and qualified to provide the Laser Signaling Device are invited to provide a response to this Sources Sought notice.
All interested parties shall complete Attachment 2 – 70Z03826IE0000003 Sources Sought Notice Response which will allow the USCG to understand your full capability to provide the Laser Signaling Device.

After review of the responses to this Sources Sought notice, the USCG may issue a solicitation on the System for Award Management website (sam.gov). Responses to this Sources Sought notice are not a substitute for a response to any future solicitation. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation in addition to responding to this Sources Sought notice. A response to this notice is NOT a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation.
