MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF HYDROLOGICAL EQUIPMENT

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number 140G0126Q0055 is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ).

The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility, has a requirement for the maintenance and repair of hydrological equipment. The repaired equipment is to be delivered to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The anticipated contract period of performance will be 07/22/2026 to 07/21/2027.

There are four option years.

Quotations are due 07/02/2026 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 5.101(c)(4)(vi), all responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government intends to award a competitive purchase order in accordance with RFO 12.201-1 Simplified Procedures. Quotations shall be submitted to Daniel (Dan) Galvin at daniel_galvin@ios.doi.gov with the solicitation number referenced in the subject line.

This solicitation is a total small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 811210 Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The size standard is $34 million.

The anticipated award date of the contract is 07/18/2026. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov to be awarded the purchase order.
