MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE AGREEMENT FCC BUTNER

The Federal Bureau of Prison Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to award sole source procurement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Varian Medical Systems, Inc.  3100 Hansen Way Palo Alto, CA 94304-1030 for the provision of maintenance and service agreement for a Varian Linear Accelerator System.  The period of performance for this procurement will be as follows:

Base Year – October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026.                            

Option Year 1 – October 1, 2026 through September 30, 2027.

Option Year 2 – October 1, 2027 through September 30, 2028.

Option Year 3 – October 1, 2028 through September 30, 2029.

Option Year 4 – October 1, 2029 through September 30, 2030.

 The NAICS Code is 334510.  This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.  It is not a solicitation or request for offers.  Other vendors who believe they can meet the requirement may provide written notification to the contracting officer by 2:00 PM CST, September 25, 2025.

Supporting evidence must be furnished in detail to demonstrate the ability of the vendor to supply services that will meet the requirement in a satisfactory manner.  Vendor must also provide references and show competition would be advantageous to the Government.  Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future.  Interested firms must provide a Capability Statement with the following information: company name, address, point of contact, telephone and fax number, email address, business size, and UEI number.  If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to Varian Medical Systems, Inc.  Responses may be emailed by the deadline stated above.
