MAINTENANCE/SERVICE/REPAIR OF MESSAGE BOARD TRAILER AND K-9 HAULER TRAILER

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE for Market Research purposes ONLY. This information will be used to determine the availability of Small Business vendors capable of meeting the Government’s minimum requirements.

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, Jacksonville, FL is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability of Small Business vendors capable of providing Preventative Maintenance (PM) service/maintenance/repair for the following wheeled equipment: (1) Message Board (Trailer) and (1) K9 Hauler S8 (Trailer). The equipment shall be inspected and preventative maintenance performed once every quarter (four times per year) at Naval Station Mayport, FL. The period of performance anticipated is a base year and four option years. Any resulting solicitation will be for a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract.

This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote. The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors for market research purposes and to determine if there are qualified firms able to fulfill this requirement. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. Responses in any form are not offers and the Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.

Small Business Size Standard: $12.5M

Description/Scope of Work: See the attached DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW)

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Small Business vendors interested in responding to this Sources Sought Notice shall provide a maximum two page statement outlining their ability to meet or exceed all of the requirements in the attached DRAFT SOW. The capabilities statement shall include:

1. Contractor Information: Provide your company name, address, POC name, phone number, email, CAGE code, SAM Unique Entity ID (UEI) and NAICs.
2. Size of Business: Large Business or Small Business. If small, please provide the socioeconomic status.
3. If the services can be solicited from a General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract vehicle, other vehicle or Open Market.
4. A brief description of the capability, resources, technical competencies and organizational experience relative to the key task areas. Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the Draft SOW will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party.

No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought Notice or any follow-up information requests. The Government will use the results of this notice to determine whether this requirement should be a Small Business Set-Aside.
