METAL SCREEN MANUFACTURING

This is a sources sought notice only, (not a pre-solicitation notice pursuant to FAR Part 5). This notice is to determine the availability of capable sources pursuant to FAR Part 10, Market Research.  This notice is for informational purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bid or Request for Quotes, and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.  The Government will not reimburse contractors for any cost incurred for their response to this notice. 

The purpose of this notice is to identify potential qualified small business concerns that can manufacture Filter Insertion System (FIS) screens that meet the tolerances, performance, and composition as those of a Screen Assembly, Filter, U-1 Foil (Part # MAT-A-1169) as shown in the drawings and specifications.  

• The respondent must be ISO 9001 certified, and have capability and prior experience producing/manufacturing components based on highly specialized/complex specifications and drawings in large quantities to those in the drawing provided.
• Capable contractors are requested to provide capability statement with information referencing prior experience with either Commercial entities or with Federal Agencies manufacturing similar metal components, manufacturing processes, technical approach, equipment/machinery available, and quality control processes to ensure specification compliance.

Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. local San Antonio, TX time on Friday, 4 Apr 2025. The Government kindly requests contractors not to respond if you are unable to manufacture products meeting or exceeding performance specifications.
