The FY25 USAF Expeditionary Center (EC) Strategy charges Contingency Response (CR) to Resource for the Fight with an end state of “Our forces will have equipment to protect themselves from threats”. In order to operate in a contested environment, and enable Mobility Air Force Agile Combat Employment, AMC must make immediate investments in Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) equipment for CR forces. As “first-in” forces providing the Open the Airbase Force Element, CR requires a capability to combat adversary drones that threaten mission, personnel and infrastructure. While long-term enterprise solutions are being analyzed with Rapidly Deployable Small Uncrewed Aircraft Defense System (RD-SUADS), the 621st and 821st Contingency Response Groups (CRGs) identified interim solutions to bridge capability gaps while advancing command level initiatives. These solutions have been socialized with AMC/4S and AMC/A34. For more information on the specs, please refer to the C-UAS Statement of Work (SOW).
