Is there a requirement for a secure area, separate from the decedent preparation area, where personnel can change into PPE, etc.? There is not a requirement to have a designated changing area. 3. Is there a requirement for a restroom for personnel inside the MEU? No there is no requirement for a restroom. 4. Is surgical or alternative specialized lighting required above the embalming stations? No special lighting requirement. 5. Does the ceiling lift need to be a minimum number of feet? Lift must be able raise human remains 2-3 feet upwards. 6. How many exit/entry points are needed? A total of two, one for access to the embalming area and one at the rear to access the mechanical equipment. 7. What are the annual maintenance expectations?
