10. Description: The US Army Contracting Command-Redstone Services & IT Solution Branch, plans to obtain information to serve as market research for a requirement to procure one (1) Monodisperse Aerosol Generator used for generating nonhazardous particles soluble in water or alcohol. This equipment is manufactured by TSI, Incorporated of St. Paul, MN. The equipment will include the following:
- Generate monodisperse aerosols in the size range of at least 1 10 m diameter. 
- Particles must be nonhazardous and soluble in water (e.g. NaCl table salt). 
- Aerosol concentrations generated must be below 1000 particles/cc. 
- The monodisperse particle diameter must be easily adjusted. 
- The instrument must be self-contained so that a technician can use it. 
- The instrument must not contain any radioactive sources. 
- The instrument must generate a stable aerosol for at least one hour.
