The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, has a brand name requirement for The Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Aviation and Missile Center (AvMC), Software Simulation Systems Engineering and Integration Directorate (S3I). This requirement is to purchase thirty-two (32) MVR Simulation Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG) renewals IAW FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(B). Without VRSG, the JSIL couldn't make their main training system, MUSE/AFSERS, show lifelike landscapes, buildings, and targets for drone cameras, nor could it accurately mimic how drone sensors (like night vision or heat sensors) actually see.
