NOI - COMPARISON MICROSCOPE MAINTENANCE

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole source, firm fixed-price contract to Leeds Precision Instruments Inc., Address: 17300 Medina RD, STE 600, Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55447.

The North American Classification System Code is 541380 - Testing Laboratories and Services. The FBI's, Lab Division (LD) requires a maintenance service contract provided by the original equipment manufacturer to retain warranty. The maintenance service contract is for Comparison Microscope systems.Based on market research, and Government end-users, Leeds service team is the only factory trained and authorized service group in the United States. Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition available upon request. The Government intends to negotiate with only one (1) source under the authority of FAR 6.103-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests and/or capabilities statement to this requirement by contacting Contract Specialist, Lily Calvert by email at lrcalvert@fbi.gov no later than 05:00 PM EST on 04/06/2026. Responses sent utilizing other means will not be considered. Information received will be used solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. The information provided herein is subject to change and does not bind the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Vendors shall be registered in the System for Awards Management (SAM.gov) to receive government contracts. The FBI uses a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM.
