This announcement is based on the best information available at this time and is subject to future modification. Purpose and Objectives The Veteran Affairs Northern Indiana Health Care System (VANIHCS) requires a qualified contractor to provide disposal services, to include the disposal of hazardous waste, non-hazardous chemical waste, specialty waste, dual waste, universal waste, used oil, emergency spill response services, and lab pack services. The Government intends to award a contract for these services with a base year and four (4) one-year option periods, to be exercised at the Government’s discretion. This Sources Sought Notice is being issued by the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Network Contracting Office (NCO) 10, located in Ann Arbor MI, as market research for planning purposes. A draft copy of the Statement of Work (SOW), as well as the estimated quantities for each waste type, is attached - this is the only information available at this time. The applicable NAICS code is 562211 – Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal, which has a size standard of $47 Million. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) is S222 – Housekeeping Waste Treatment/Storage.
