NOTICE IN INTENT: SOLE SOURCE FOR SLIT LAMP

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE / PROPOSAL

The Defense Health Agency (DHA), Healthcare Contracting Division Northeast (HCD-NE), on behalf of 31st MDG Airforce Base, Aviano Italy, intends to award a firm fixed price contract on a sole source basis to Lombart Brothers Inc  (CAGE: 63381) 11825 Central Parkway Jacksonville, Florida 32224 United States

The anticipated award will be made under the statutory authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition pursuant to 13.106-1(b)(1): “Soliciting from a Single Source for Purchases not exceeding the Simplified Acquisition Threshold” The contract is intended for the procurement of an LED SLIT Lamp and Exam Chair Equipment for the Optometry Department at Naval Health Clinic in Annapolis Maryland

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals or quotations. Requests for copies of a solicitation in response to this notice will not be honored or acknowledged. Phone calls will not be accepted. A determination by the Government to not compete this proposed action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by responding to this notice no later than 10:00am EST, August 29th 2025 by email to cinthia.g.funes.civ@health.mil and cc: gregory.m.crump.civ@health.mil. All information submitted should support the offeror’s capability to provide the action required and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government.
