    Seeking Shock Absorbing Carpet System

    Child Development Center activity room shock absorbing carpet systems must comply with Air Force Civil Engineer FC 4-470-14F (Design: AF Child Development Centers, dated 07 July 2015) with the specifications below:

    • Meet Indoor playground guidelines set by US Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC)
    • Meet ASTM F 1292 and ASTM F 2373 at minimum 3 ft. critical fall height with transition not to exceed 1/12
    • Meets ABA requirements
    • Impact-absorbing mat/padding system
    • Contains Anti-microbial properties
    • Solution dyed
    • Integrated moisture barrier
    • CRI Green Label
    • Contains Zero VOC’s
    • Conventional Cleaning process
    • Integral wall base system
    • Includes three (3) sides of ADA Tapered Perimeter Edges, with one (1) edge finished for wall placement

    Quantities Required:

    • Madison CDC: Three (3) units
    • Pershing CDC: Six (6) units

     Deliverables and Acceptance:

    • All materials must be per specifications.
    • Work shall be subject to inspection and acceptance by the on-site government representative.
    • Upon completion, the contractor shall provide a written warranty and installation documentation for each unit installed.
