    NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE-SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a sole-source, one-time, firm-fixed price contract to Thomas Scientific, LLC, [CAGE Code 725Q0], 1654 High Hill Road, Swedesboro, New Jersey, 08085-1780 for one (1) FSIS II Color Lab System, and fourteen (14) replacement computers for the FSIS Lab System. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency no later than 5:00 PM (EST) on 21 May 2025. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests will not be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. No reimbursement for any cost connected with providing capability information will be provided. The information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for or award a contract. Vendors must be registered in SAM, (effective July 29, 2012), to receive government contracts. The FBI utilizes a financial system that has a direct interface with SAM. Please ensure that your company’s SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes the TIN, EFT, DUNs, UEI, addresses, and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
