Notice of Intent to Award a Sole-Source Contract to Monode for NGS Software Platform Support (TRIAD Gold Licenses)
1. This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions. This is a notice of intent to award a sole-source contract; it is not a request for competitive proposals. The AFSC OL:H/PZIEA contracting activity intends to solicit and negotiate a firm-fixed-price contract exclusively with Monode.
2. The Government requires the following items:
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code: 513210
Product Service Code (PSC) / Federal Supply Classification (FSC): 7A21
TRAIDGOLD Software Support Licenses
3. Orders placed against FSS contracts are exempt from the requirements in FAR part 6. However, an ordering activity must justify its action when awarding on a sole source basis in accordance with subsection 538.7104-3 Sole Source Justifications of Federal Supply Schedule Ordering Procedures.
It has been determined that Monode is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the required software support licenses and Monode does not have authorized resellers. Please see attached Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) Sole Source Justification (SSJ).
4. Submission of Information
All responsible sources may identify their interest and submit a capability statement in response to this notice. All responses received within five (5) business days of this notice's publication will be considered by the Government.
Responses must demonstrate the capability to provide the exact item listed above.
5. Disclaimer
A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The award will not be delayed for the purpose of evaluating new sources or pending source approval.
It is estimated that an award will be made no later than 22 May 2026.
