NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE - TRUMPET EC INSECTICIDE

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SINGLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. This is a notice of intent to award a single source contract pursuant to Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) 12.102(a): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of RFO 12.102(a). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Reference Number is FA441826DC0001.
The 628th Contracting Squadron (628 CONS) located at 101 E. Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston (JB CHS), SC intends to award a firm-fixed-price purchase order to ADAPCO, LLC. for the procurement of a minimum quantity of six (6) but no more than nine (9) each 30-Gal. drums of Trumpet EC Insecticide. The required delivery date is on or before 1 Jun 2026. ADAPCO, LLC. is the only manufacturer and distributor of Trumpet EC insecticide, therefore is the only vendor capable of fulfilling JB CHS’s current requirement.
This notice of intent to award is not a request for competitive proposals; however, responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
