NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to award a sole source firm fixed price task order to Siemens Industry INC to obtain onsite services under GSA Schedue GS07F217CA to ensure the proper operation of CDC’s NIOSH Facility in Morgantown, WV’s buildings automated system for heating ventilation and air conditions controls operate optimally and reliably.  Siemens Industry INC has the exclusive licensing agreements/Proprietary data for this software/equipment, this contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (SAP).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within 5 days of the issuance of this notice shall be considered by the government.  A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.  Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Any quotation/response should be emailed to the contract specialist at zvm0@cdc.gov by 1:00 pm (EST), on 08/22/2025.
