    THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.  The program office within Program Executive Officer, Land Systems (PEO LS) Marine Corps for the Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) intends to award a hybrid contract (Firm-Fixed Price and Cost Type) on a sole-source basis to V2X, Indianapolis Branch, 6125 East 21st St, Indianapolis, IN 46219, for the Denied Area Sprinter-Hellfire (DASH) system.  The Marine Corps has a unique and specific need to procure Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft System already at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL)-9 level, to support dismounted Marines.  The DASH system fills a critical need to detect, identify, track, and defeat small UAS in a highly mobile, rugged form factor that will help protect Marines. The United States Government intends to procure up to 50 systems to include training, initial spares, and reimbursable repairs with an expected delivery date for two systems of no later than 30 May 2026 and delivery of the remaining 48 systems no later than December 2026 to meet an FY27 initial operational capability requirement. This effort is expected to be awarded in Fiscal Year 2026.

    THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.  This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii) "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements".  Unless stated herein, no additional information is available.  Responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement within fifteen calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis.  The Government will consider all information received by the response date.  A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  All submissions shall become Government property and will not be returned.  Contractors are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice of intent.  The North American Industry Classification System code is 336992 – Military Armored Vehicle, Tank, and Tank Component Manufacturing.   The Product Service Code (PSC) associated with this effort is 2355 – Combat, Assault, and Tactical Vehicles, Wheeled.
