NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE – MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR FOR KARTOSCANFB V MODEL SCANNER

Commander, Fleet Readiness Centers (COMFRC) Procurement Group, Patuxent River, MD, hereby gives notice of intent to award a purchase order to FBSCANNERS AS (Cage Code:N5446), on a sole source basis in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The purchase order is anticipated to include a base year plus three (3) option years of performance.  The anticipated award date is 12 Sept 2025, and the estimated value is $133,602.00 dollars.

FLEET READINESS CENTER EAST (FRCE) has a requirement for annual and emergent maintenance, and repair services of one (1) KARTOSCANFB V model scanner.  FBSCANNERS AS is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and holds the exclusive rights to perform maintenance and repair of this equipment. 

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within three (3) calendar days after the date of the publication of this synopsis, will be reviewed. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received because of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
