NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - SECURITY IDENTITY MANAGEMENT SUPPORT

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Contracting and Procurement (C&P), and Technology and Systems (T&S) intends to issue a solicitation using other than full and open competition. Accordingly, the TSA in-tends to award a sole-source contract to Identification Technology Partners, Inc., 20251 Century Boulevard, Suite 330, Germantown, MD 20874. This contract will address requirements of the TS office for secure identity management support that will focus on technical development,
support, operations and maintenance of identity and biometric-based state and federal systems; recurrent criminal history notifications; rap sheet specifications and standards; and biometric standards, identification, and authentication (national and
international).

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, within 10 days of posting this Notice of Intent. This notice of intent is not a re-quest for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the dis-cretion of the Government.Information received will nor-mally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
