NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - SIG M18 PISTOLS, BLUEFIRE

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE AND NOT A REQUEST FOR A QUOTE (RFQ).

This notice is being published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 5.101 requiring dissemination of information for proposed contract actions.  The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is prescribed by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

NAVSUP FLCY Marianas Site intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for SIG M18 Pistols, Bluefire, SIG M18 Pistol Magazines, and a SIG M18 Pistol Adapter on a sole source basis to Inveris Training Solutions, Inc.  The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 332994; the Product Service Code (PSC) is 1005.  The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price purchase order for:

- SIG M18 Pistols, Bluefire, SIG M18 Pistol Magazines, and a SIG M18 Pistol Adapter

A draft of the Performance Work Statement is attached.

Responses to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.

Interested vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gove/portal/public/SAM. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
