These probes are critical components of the Meteorology Branch’s Portable Weather Instrumentation Data System (PWIDS), which collects and transmits real-time weather data for range safety and test support at DPG. Due to the highly specialized nature of the probe adjustments, internal diagnostic software, and required OEM replacement parts, Campbell Scientific is the only vendor with the unique expertise required to calibrate and repair the probes while guaranteeing critical compatibility with DPG's existing meteorological sensor network.
