NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE TO EXECUTIVE INFORMATION SYSTEMS, LLC FOR SAS SOFTWARE LICENSES AND MAINTENANCE SUPPORT

Marine Corps Installations - National Capital Region (MCI-NCR), Regional Contracting Office (RCO), Quantico, VA hereby gives notice of intent to award an order against GSA Federal Supply Schedule 47QTCA18D0081 to Executive Information Systems, LLC (CAGE Code: 1NM64) on a sole source basis in ccordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) Only One Source is Capable of Providing the Supplies or Services Required at the Level of Quality Required Because the Supplies or Services are Unique or Highly Specialized.

This requirement is for Statistical Analysis System (SAS) Software Licenses and Maintenance Support for the Marine Corps Technology Services Organization (TSO). The NAICS Code is 541519 (Information Technology Value Added Resellers). Market research confirmed Executive Information Systems, LLC is the sole-source provider for these SAS supplies. For this reason the Government intends to procure these supplies on a sole source basis from Executive Information Systems, LLC. 

THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.
However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which, if received within one (1) calendar day after the date of the publication of this notice will be considered. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
